“Five Artists in the Sixth Face”, Sin Ming Daily, Singapore: Singapore Press Holdings, 30 May 2005, p 8 (Translation) 2012-09-30

Five local artists are gathering for a group show, “The Sixth Face”.  They are Lim Tiong Ghee, Oh Chai Hoo, Soh Chee Hui, Tay Bak Chiang and Quek Kiat Sing.  All five of them use Chinese Ink and are in search for new interpretations.
“The Sixth Face” is an abstract concept of a new dimension that the five artists hope to discover in their endeavours with ink.  According to Artist Quek Kiat Sing, “The Sixth Face” is still not conceivable at the moment.  Just like the magic cube, no matter how it turns, the central axis is the same. Likewise their search of a higher level of achievement in ink does not depart from the fundamental of ink.
“The Sixth Face” opens on 4th June at 3pm, and continues to the 12th from 11am to 6pm at Artrium of the MICA Building.
